Ode to Christie Brinkley

Yo, Christie! Just saw your editorial in Sports Illustrated's current swimsuit issue. YOU GO, GIRL!! 

Christie is not afraid...........yeah, she may have some advantages that most of us don't.......... and many of them God given! But bless you, girl, you are out there working it and not afraid of showing it off either. 

At an age (63) when many of us wouldn't be caught dead in a caftan on the beach, THIS girl is rocking a bikini! Of course she looks awesome in it. She is also featured in a sexy swimsuit with her gorgeous 31 and 18 year old bikini clad daughters. She is not afraid.  She is age defying but not age denying. She's public about the number and she OWNS HER OLD.

MY beach shot, featured in this post, shows me fully clad, haha!  and only NEAR the sand. But Christie, you've inspired me. I'm actually gonna bring my bikini with me next time and maybe I'll even put it on!

Christie, you're my hero of the moment. Thank you for showing others that owning your old is beautiful and cool!
